Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting for a Senior Accountant to support our growing real estate client based in Southern California on a hybrid basis for a year-long project. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a strong understanding of GAAP accounting and who is excited to learn something new. This Sr. Accountant will report directly to the Accounting Manager and will be responsible for supporting the accounting, analysis, reconciliation, and reporting for investment entities.- Reconciliations (Bank, Wallets, Prepaids, AR, AP, Loans, Fixed Assets)-Verify accuracy of AP coding and ensure proper supporting documentation- Responsible for rent rolls, billing, Rent escalations, and tenant reports- Track and monitor the AP cycle, assist in the preparation of invoices- Conduct detailed analysis of fixed asset/inventory general ledger accounts and forecast depreciation expenditure and reconcile complex fixed asset accounts.- Entering fixed assets into software programs for tax preparation.- Assist in reconciling partners' equity.- Prepare financial reports in accordance with appropriate accounting guidelines.- Recommend adjusting entries if needed and recording them in QuickBooks.- Assist in forecasting income and expenses to analyze new investment projects.
